Carmen’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan, a loud up-and-coming-director, shows up to spend the night. Carmen is feeling insecure about her work, and clearly still has chemistry with Jordan. Sam, while struggling with writer’s block, tries to be open-minded but is bothered by Jordan’s boasting and comments. Sam and Jordan eventually have a showdown in the snow.
